Michael Keaton's role in "Birdman" is his most well-known film. Being a multi-faceted actor, he has the ability to play both dramatic and comedic roles. Alongside characters with romantic appeal, he starred in action films and thrillers. As a teenager He began developing an interest in both acting and performing. In the later years, when he was young, he began to try stand-up comedy. This was not a very successful comedy career, but it did pave the way for a career in acting. To be successful as a comedian, he got a job in the role of a cameraman with the local cable TV station. As he was doing the work he started to realize that he really desired to appear in front of the camera. A television role was secured and he was a regular on various episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a naturally gifted actor and soon became popular on television. In pursuit of his dreams, he made a move into film and gained fame due to his comedic parts. Additional recognition was received when he portrayed Batman's eponymous superhero as Tim Burton's Batman. In his later years, as a mature actor he also began to venture into producing and directing. He won numerous awards and nominations for his performances in the 2014 film Birdman.
