Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. Her early years were spent listening to traditional music, old boleros, as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas as well as any dramatic performance. Ana began learning to play and sing from an early age, along together with her mom. She was given more formal singing instruction at the age of 16 old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara before moving on to Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She's a regular solo performer at private parties and events and performs the traditional Latin American Music. Ana is involved in a variety of local projects in both teaching as well as a performer due to her love of music and art. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Choir for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
